Highview Studio - Mountain and City Views

Met all our needs for a short term stay. Great communication from the Host. Was close to our needs as far as overseas travellers - downtown Vancouver, all modes of transport and supermarket a short walk away. Was comfortable and had a kitchen if required.

Location, cleanliness and friendly host

the central location, and the fact that there was a Concierge on site. The kitchen had all sort of bits and bobs , to have a cup of tea, and coffee

The amenities were a bit dated : the bathroom was dated, and the bathroom cabinet needs to have the hinges tighten up; the chest of drawers in the living room on top of which the TV is standing is missing door knobs. the bed linen were too thin, and scratchy. there were some better bed linen, but they must have been just laundered, not yet dried...They were hanging in the Hallway wardrobe, concentrating the moisture, and the wet smell in the entrance. The mattress was well tooo soft: the bed frame has some sides coming up, flush with the mattress. Combined with the soft mattress, , they hurt when someone try to get in bed. The bedding was clean but too thin and scratchy (not cotton). The pillows were far too old , soft , and with yellow stains, as well as the duvet. A bit of maintenance, and refreshing the bedding would make this place great, right now it is times to let go of the old bedding, and present appropriate cotton thread bedding , as well as new mattress, duvet , and pillows
