The location, quality of the space. It was extremely clean. The swimming pool is amazing. There is a wonderful beach by walking distance.

Everything in the villa was perfect. It's brand new and really well designed. You can see the attention to detail everywhere. My wife and two teenage kids liked not only the two cozy bedrooms with separate bathrooms, but also the fully equipped kitchen and the living room, where we spent the evenings watching the World Cup matches in Greek. Relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi was what we needed after visiting Chania several times, walking down the Imbros Gorge, and climbing to Katholiko. All those places are must-visits when you're in western Crete (I am not mentioning Balos and Elafonisi, which we visited on other occasions). Of course, there is also Samaria and other places, but we need to have something left for future visits. When you're in Stavros, do not forget to climb at least 10-20 meters :) up Stavros Mountain. This is the place to watch the sunset. The villa is a 1 minute walk from a quiet beach, where you can always find either a small shady place or plenty of sunshine, depending what you like. The beach itself, as well as many places in the water, has fine sand. The rocks are mostly smooth, so no water shoes are needed. When the sea is calm, you can see a few fish species in the water, me and my son really enjoyed it. If the sea is rough (it was once during our stay), you can go to Zorba's Beach, but we preferred the villa's pool. Stavros is rather a quiet place, but for us that was exactly the reason why we chose it.

Beautiful villa. Facilities were excellent. Clean, welcoming and fully equipped. Pool was lovely. Short walk to the beach and tavernas.
