Al zain hotel apartment

Very comfortable bed, good refridgerator, good size kitchen bench and sink. Comfortable chairs and table. Carparking available at front of building. Good location. The staff were excellent and did their best to help.

My first night was in room 3004 which had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and very loud 'ding dong' bell noise from the lift, just outside the room front door, which kept me awake most of the night. The bell noise carries even from other floors, and is amplified due to the floor tiles throughout the foyer and the room. The staff were happy to help me move to the top floor room 5004, which thankfully did not have the smoke smell and the bell noise was not as noticeable. I slept much better. It did however have a dirty aircon filter and cockroaches in the bathroom. The shower does not have a curtain or screen, so the whole bathroom gets wet, unless you hold the shower head in your hand and spray it on yourself manually. The wifi was intermittent, not always working.
