Cozy 1BR Apt in Downtown Richmond, Nearby Attractions

The room was charming with incredible, old architectural features while being modern and cozy and spacious. We had 4 people sleeping there -- one on the fold-out sofa, one on an Air mattress we brought (there was plenty of room!) and a couple on the big bed. There are huge iron windows with views of the train yard and train station so it is fun to just sit and watch the trains go by. We got the place because we were attending shows at Allianz amphitheater. It was a walkable distance along the lovely canal walk from Shockoe to Allianz -- a long walk, but walkable. There was only one parking pass but our friends did not have trouble finding on-street parking. The kitchen had everything we needed (including great coffee and set-up). The flat is really close to some of the best restaurants in Richmond. The owner was responsive and friendly and we were greeted by the manager when we arrived. They were very nice. 10/10 -- will come and stay again.

It is really at the bottom of the hill in Shockoe bottom so there can be a hike up the hill if you're exploring Richmond on foot. It is close to the rail yard and hospital so there is train and helicopter traffic. That didn't bother us because we like walking and live in a city so we're used to trains and helicopters -- not everyone is used to that.

City view! Cool vibe. Historic location. Spacious. Nice linens and table/glassware.

Needed more seating for eating.

Everything, clean and convenient to outside life

No tv in the bedroom

This was a great stay for our family of 3, my husband and I stayed in the bedroom and my daughter on the pull out couch. The location was easy to get to and in a quieter, more industrial part of town. There is a park and restaurants walkable up the hill, and a grocery store within walking distance. We were able to make simple meals in the kitchen.
