Marine Blue Apartment

My wife and I stayed at Marine Blue apartment recently. The stay was perfect for us and our needs/expectations. If you are looking to stay around the Dehiwala area this is a good property to stay. The property is within the residential area. Its a very short walking distance from the beach and plenty of eateries around if you walk to the marine drive. The main Galle road is also within walking distance. Nice view of the beach from the rooms and living room balconies. Roshanara was a great host and the check in / check out were smooth. The property was very clean and the facilities worked as expected. Thanks Roshanara for a great stay.

Visited in February 2026. The ocean views from the balcony were heavenly, as shown in the photos. The spacious apartment seems to be newly renovated with modern furniture. All the spaces were extremely clean and spotless. The bed was huge and comfortable. All three rooms had balconies in addition to the main balcony of the sitting room. Two rooms had attached bathrooms whilst the third bathroom was located outside, near the kitchen area. Toilet paper, shower gel and towels were available. The kitchen was fully functional with all the equipments provided. There was a washing machine at one of the balconies. Ironing board was provided as well. Excellent location with close proximity to city center and walking distance from MKB grocery store. Our host (Roshaninara) was very welcoming and super friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Colombo for a short term or long term visit. Especially for family visits. Some suggestions :- A small table and chair at the balcony would be great since the balcony was huge to sit and enjoy the magnificent ocean views and the calming breeze. A cleaning service for long stay guests would be much appreciated considering the price. Occasionally there were ants and some flies at the kitchen area. It is recommended to provide “shieldtox” spray. The AC at the master bedroom was somewhat noisy at times. A thick blanket or a quilt for the bedroom would be a nice touch since it looks absolutely like a hotel! Overall, our stay was super comfortable and very relaxing.
