The location was excellent, with peaceful surroundings that made for a truly relaxing stay. Nestled in the middle of lush fields, the villa offered beautiful views and a serene atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature while still being comfortable and convenient.

This visit was hugely disappointing. Based on the reviews (I suspect they are not all legit) we had expected a much nicer experience. The pictures look nice but the reality is very different! Prior to our arrival we had been communicating with the owner online. The owner had been informed what time we would arrive but sadly when we called her, as we got closer to Ubud and we could not find the place, she did not answer our calls. We called 3 times but there was no answer. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 very young guys who spoke next to no English. We later learned they were also in charge of the cleaning and basically were managing the pace. The ‘villa’ (just a run down old wooden cabin) was not at all like in the pictures. Run down, old, poorly maintained and not that clean. The nice bath seen in one of the pictures was a dirty old bath I would not even put my dog in. The floors were dirty upon our arrival, so were the mirrors. The WI-FI connection was very weak, there was a power cut the second day we were there.

The location is far from town which we were aware of, the bathroom was large but the shower was weird. No shower curtains so one just showered in the middle of the bathroom. The room was large but sadly not cleaned properly. We asked for cleaning twice while we were there. The first day the room was not cleaned, only the trash was taken out and 2 new towels were provided. The second day, the trash was taken out and the 2 dirty wet towels we had left on the floor to be replaced, were instead picked up from the floor, folded and left on the toilet seat for us to use again!!!!!!! The kitchen was very run down and not clean, the kitchen sink had a horrible smell of rotten food. The closet was tiny for 2 people. The safe box had issues so we could not use it. No dining room table or chairs to sit and eat our food. Very basic old cabin and the most disturbing part was the lack of cleaning. We did meet the owner. After we reported the towel incident she passed by. That is when it became clear to us that her young son and another young guy are running the place and that is obviously why it is not run properly. It was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable but sadly those are the only 2 positive things about the place. Very disappointing and we shall not return.
