The location was lovely,
We received coffee, tea, biscuits in the pod
Was given a bottle of local brewed beer on arrival
bed linen and towels were immaculate
Mattresses had wipeable,zipped covers on
The pod was lovely and warm
The mattresses had not been removed to clean the bed frame which was full of dust and dog hairs
The floor had not been cleaned, under the furniture was dusty with dried mud, dog hairs and leaves, with no mop to clean it,
Power cut on the saturday morning,as a result the fridge defrosted

Location
Accommodation a bit tired. Unfortunately electricity supply out in the morning. Rendering shower unusable and not being able to have breakfast .

Good location for the areas we were wanting to visit. Extremely warm welcome with gifts for the dogs too. Warm pod with kettle and microwave. Tv had a good signal but looking up so high after a while is a pain in the neck. The camping pod was warm and dry.
Facilities possibly let it down. Maybe a case of the owners never experiencing a nights stay. You go to the dark car park, with toilet and shower block. Unload and walk your stuff to the pod. Never done this before but it’s ok if it’s not raining. After unpacking you fancy getting a shower in the nearby shower block you parked near. Think again. Only 1 pod, out of probably a dozen, is allowed to use this shower. A God send that the toilets are ok to use. The only option is to walk longer distance on poorly lit paths to the showers near reception.

Loved the location. It was a cosy log cabin.
It said it slept 4, so i thought it would have more room to hang clothes, coats and towels. They could do with some extra hooks in my opinion.
I also wanted to leave before 6am but couldnt get out the gates.

The location, cabin, surroundings and staff were fantastic.
Minor grumbles about the cleanliness (just needed a wee hoovering in corners - sorted in minutes) and the mattresses feeling a bit uncomfortable.

The location was ideal for good walks, restaurants, exploring Kirkby Lonsdale, it was easy to find, quiet and spacious. The bed was comfortable, we slept very well
As soon as we entered the accommodation,we could smell a strong musty smell which was quite off putting. The bathroom was quite dirty, not sure if it was mould or dirt but there were also quite a few hairs in the sink and it was quite dated

Lovely location
Spending the first 15 minutes of our stay cleaning the stale milk out of the fridge which smelt disgusting!!

Great location and friendly staff.
I think I’m out of touch around prices as no toilet or shower for £70 a night did seem a reasonable amount of money. I am out of practise clamping wise though!

We had an incredible weekend stay with our 2 dogs in the Treetops apartment. The weather was so hot and just a short walk away from the site is a river that you can swim in (and loads of people did) and a lovely park to chill in next to the river. Woodclose Park facilities are great, there is an onsite dog field which the boys could run around in off lead, there is a patio area at the side of the apartment which we ate our chippy tea on in the glorious sunshine. The bed is super comfy and the apartment has everything you need for a home away from home! We also went into the village centre for an evening meal one night and the food was great at The Royal Hotel & Restaurant. Would highly recommend staying at Woodclose Park 😊

Location was perfect, hive was immaculate and very comfortable. Staff were brilliant and available when needed. From checking in to checking out they could not have been better. Quality of hive was very good, bed super comfy, outside facilities excellent. We will be looking to return.

It was very comfortable, the accommodation was well well equipped, ie kitchen utensils etc. The bed was comfortable.
The accommodation smelled a little on arrival, however we requested dog friendly accommodation, so to be expected I guess.

Lovely site, friendly staff, good meet and greet. Site was well presented, very good dog exercise area. Lovely circular walk to the local area.
Late booking, think the cleaner hadn't managed to get into the property in time for our arrival to vacuum as there as a rolls of dust appeared when our dog tail swept the underside edge of the bed base.

We stayed in what is called Tree Top villa. We didn't realise until we got there that it's attached to the shower blocks and the reception . It seems from the doors etc that it is a converted office space.
No heating on when we got there and it was cold and raining. Was told when I asked it would come on at 5pm. Check in was 3pm. A hoover full of dust left out in the living area. Generally poor decor and quite basic for the cost. Paid £25 extra to site to bring a dog , no fenced in outside area.

Lovely location, good facilities and accommodation will definitely return. All areas very clean. Trolleys to unload car very useful.
Enjoyed everything - now I have seen the other accommodation on site I will book something bigger next time if available

Location for walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks was ideal. Only 30 mins away. Quiet place with lots to explore.
Everything was fantastic. Only tiny gripe in the carpet could do with a clean but it’s a dog friendly accommodation so to be expected over time

Lovely caravan park right next to a quaint and traditional English town.
The pods were generally nice, good kitchen area and food out table/chairs. The provided kitchen utensils were sufficient for cooking and preparing meals.
The shower was great, powerful and instant hot water.
The site had an open secure field for dogs which was a huge bonus.
Somewhat Limited parking, Could be easily fixed by providing some guidelines in the car park to stop people leaving huge gaps between each other.
The bed was comfortable enough but quite thin.
The bed, room and ceiling were all dirty with cobwebs and various elements clearly not hoovered for some time.
The sofa was hard and somewhat uncomfortable.
The curtains were pretty bad, not even covering the window and sagging. They fell off multiple times.
We never had the chance to mention this to the staff as we were out hiking outwith reception hours.

Great site, very well kept with great facilities. The dog exercise field, fully fenced, is a great addition to exercise the dog. Walks direct from the site into Kirkby Lonsdale, which has a great selection of shops, bars, and restaurants that are pretty much all dog friendly and further afield. We ate in KL at the red dragon, which was lovely and at the Pheasant at Casterton, which was restaurant quality. The site is very peaceful and easy to find. There is also a playing field for the kids and a playpark. Will definitely return, no pool, but the river at Devils Bridge is easily accessed for paddling . NOT swimming though as far too dangerous. We stayed in Treetops apartment, which is at the back of the reception building. Bonus of private parking by the apartment.

Close to the town / bars & restaurants and lovely caravan site with polite staff.
Quite basic inside for the amount we paid. Didn’t have a smart tv and had to pay an extra £25 for our dog, even though it was a ‘ dog friendly lodge’.
I understand if anything was damaged, however nothing was, so I would have appreciated the £25 back when leaving the site.

location and surrounding area
I did call on our return to highlight issues we had - as we were not given the shower code or any toilet instructions when we arrived - we also we not given the code for the gate - we stayed 2 nights as we had paid £75 each to do the guided 3 peaks walk and as the gate was open we couldn't get off the campsite despite calling the emergency number several times. We were very late arriving for the 12 hour walk and were unable to do it - it would be great if someone from the company could acknowledge our points - we've not followed it up as life goes on, but I don't think it's good customer service or aftercare
