Fantastic location, only a few blocks from the beach and right in the heart of Matosinhos! The apartment is compact but extremely well-designed and perfectly suited our family of four. There is only one step up into the building, and then stair-free access to the lifts and within the unit, making it ideal for mobility-impaired guests. The beds were comfortable (though note the bunk bed is low and best for kids), the shower was great, and being able to cook in the apartment is always helpful. We preferred the Lidl even though it is a bit further away. The host was very responsive and friendly and we would definitely stay here again!
The corkscrew needs an upgrade! It would also be great to have some more kitchen knives, such as a bread knife, and dish towels available. But these are minor nitpicks.
