The owner is super friendly , the location is amazing at the heart of JBR which gives you easy access to Jumeirah and beaches and Dubai eye .. overall the place is good.

The location is just perfect and right at the Marina, close to the beach. Easy check-in and nice host.

I understand that this is a hostel for budget travellers, but the price is way too high for what you get. There were hair on the floor in our room (we stayed in the private room), very dirty bathroom, not even hot water. The room is extremely small for 2 people. The kitchen is not clean as well and we even saw a few cockroaches there. You don’t get any keys so the room is basically open 24/7. We did not feel good here.

Location is great, right in the heart of JBR and Marina. Great for travelling tourists who want Dubai experience. The room was confortable enough. The host is super nice and helpful.

Beds are a bit shaky and sqeeky. Every time someone turns on the lower level, the whole bed is shaking.

Great host in a perfect location — a valuable first hostel experience.

The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and supportive from the very beginning. He treated me like a friend, helped me with everything I needed, and made my first hostel experience much easier and more comfortable. The location is excellent — one of the best areas in Dubai, with everything nearby.

Sleeping in a shared room was difficult for me due to loud snoring, which is a normal part of hostel life and not the host’s fault. I also misunderstood the parking situation during booking — parking is available but requires an additional fee, which car owners should be aware of.

I do not recommend this property. Only good thing is the location

The property is very difficult to find: the location on the map is unclear. Inside the building there is no clear navigation. The elevator opens to different sides. Оne of them leads to a staff/service area without any signs, room numbers, or internet connection. It was impossible to find the room on my own. I politely asked the host to meet me downstairs and help, as I could not find the correct door. I received a reply that it doesn’t matter which elevator I take and he did not come to assist. When we met in person, the host spoke in a disrespectful and aggressive manner, blamed me without reason, and threatened me with “problems”, which is unacceptable behavior toward a guest. In the room, the bed had dirty, wrinkled bed sheets with yellow stains. When I asked for them to be replaced, the host initially refused, saying they were clean. Only after an argument did he agree to change them. Eventually, the host himself suggested canceling the reservation and promised to approve a full refund if I was not satisfied. I agreed and left the property. One month has passed, and the refund has still not been approved. I believe the service was not provided properly due to: lack of clear directions and signage unsanitary bed linen rude and threatening behavior from the host a refund promise that was not honored

Comfortable, safe, and truly unforgettable!

It was my first time traveling to Dubai, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The host is an incredibly kind person, and the apartment is spotless, safe, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The location is also perfect close to all essential facilities such as the tram, metro, supermarkets, and great restaurants. I truly had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional & helpful host (Louay)

I had fantastic stay at Alsahel Vacation 1. The host was incredibly friendly & always ready to help. Dorm was clean & had comfortable beds with free wifi. They have simple rules and explained well in advance. Location is great, it was close to Marina beach (with pubs & cool restaurants) on walking distance & public transport access to trains & trams available. This was my first solo trip and got opportunity to meet so many amazing people & it was very nice to talk to them and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for stay. Thankyou Louay :)

Awesome host, perfect location, clean

Host is a very pleasant person, helpful, responsive and giving his best to keep the place clean and functioning. In short, the hostel has perfect location, it's clean, people followed the rules nicely, I had a great time here, if I come back I'll stay in it again, and I recommend it to others.

I saw very small bugs 2 or 3 times in the kitchen. There were none is sleeping area, bathroom or dinning area though. I spoke with people I hanged out in the hostel with, that have been in other hostels in the area, and they said this place is the best regarding these things, in other places it's way worse. Don't know where they came from when place is really so clean, but make sure to keep food in fridge only, just in case.

I was hesitant because this my first time in hostel. I’m definitely coming back in my next trip.

The location is amazing, close to the tram, beach, and stores. The owner lives on-site, so everything is well organized and maintained. There are clear house rules to follow, which helps keep things orderly. Everyone was respectful of the quiet hours and didn’t make noise at night.

I only liked the location because it’s near the sea.

The rest was disappointing. The booking confirmation stated a one-bedroom apartment; however, it turned out to be a bed space accommodation. It was also not easy to access. The security guard made me wait and had no knowledge of Al Sahel Vacation House. I showed him my booking confirmation, but he couldn’t contact the apartment management since he wasn’t aware of Al Sahel Vacation House. The vacation unit is located inside a residential building, so you must contact the person managing the unit directly before arriving to avoid confusion.

Misleading advertising

The location is good, close to the beach, not far from public transportation.

Misleading and false advertising. This is actually a hostel, so many people sharing the facilities. The room was small and my private bathroom is tiny where I couldn’t have a proper shower. Lifts were hardly working. The ‘Private pool’ advertised was actually a communal pool shared by residents of the building complex, hundreds.

Луай-хозяин супер человек! Все доступно написал, как добраться и попасть. Я была в отдельной комнатае с санузлом и душем, но там не было горячей воды, ничего страшного рядом есть общественный душ, очереди не было. Расположение - огонь, уже была в этом районе. Пляж в пяти минутах. На районе магазины для шопинга и еды. Все отзывчивые и Новый год прошел в необыкновенной компании))
