The physical accommodation was lovely and clean, well appointed and well maintained.
The close proximity to the main residence wasn’t disclosed by the hosts and there was considerable interference, especially with parking as they had many visitors during our stay and while this was corrected (after we said something) it felt slightly tone deaf considering we paid almost $1,500 to stay there for three nights.

The place was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with toiletries, tea, coffee etc, the bed was absolutely the comfiest thing I have ever slept on. There was also soft jazz music playing on our arrival and the fire pit was lit for us. It was just amazing. Loved the little bonus choccies on arrival too.
We had originally booked Oakwood Guesthouse because it was pet friendly (came up on a pet friendly search) however the day of arrival we were notified the property didn’t allow pets.
