I loved that the location was right in-town, so getting to the shops and restaurants was no more than a 5 minute walk. You have to walk through a little courtyard to get to the hotel and it had a ceramics store, a mezcal tasting room, a few other shops and a cafe that had the nicest staff and easy, good tasting food. So, I never felt like I was in a time crunch because I knew I could easily go downstairs to eat and then head out to my excursions from there. Also, I appreciated how amazing and helpful the staff was! He met my friend and I at the gate when we arrived earlier than expected and accommodated us without question. He made sure our room was ready, carried our bags, & then set us up on WhatsApp so we could communicate with him if we needed any recommendations or help during our trip. There was a gate with a code to the facility for added safety, so he made sure to send us a picture & directions of how to use it and how to get into our own room. Amazing concierge!!

It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s clean and has AC and the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom & shower are clean w/ working hot water, so I can’t really complain about anything about the property. I will note that if you take a shower in the morning, depending on how many people are there, it’s a first come first serve for hot water. We only encountered that issue once on the day we arrived when my friend showered after me and she didn’t get much hot water. May have just been because of that or having to do with other guests showering in the morning. Additionally, there was one night where the gate code wouldn’t work the 5 times we tried it, but we took a minute, let it reset, and then it finally worked, so we were able to help another guest get inside that had been having all of that trouble.

Great location, nice cafe downstairs.

The location was great. The cafe in the courtyard was excellent. The food, service, and quality was really good. The prices were reasonable..Our morning coffee was excellent, and the menu was good with lots of options.

The room had coffee and 2 small water upon check in. Afterwards there was nothing! No cleaning, no emptying garbage or replenishing anything. We had to ask for toilet paper. During our stay they could have swept the room or tidied the washroom and taken away garbage. The room was getting grungy after 4 nights. Luis gave good instructions for check in and did respond if you needed anything.

Best location in Oaxaca, highly recommend this place

Casa Agaves – 5/5 Casa Agaves has a perfect location, close to great restaurants and lovely areas. The check-in process was smooth and easy. The host was very accommodating, quick to respond to any questions, and handled requests immediately, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a great stay – highly recommended!

One thing to note is that there can be loud music from a nearby venue, so if you are sensitive to noise, this might be something to consider.

La ubicación del alojamiento es perfecta, está muy cerca de puntos turísticos, en especial de Santo Domingo.

No me gustó que el alojamiento no incluyera la limpieza de la habitación, yo estuve cuatro noches, y era desagradable ver como se acumulaba la basura y que no podíamos tener toallas limpias. Además cerca de la regadera había muchas hormigas.

Très bien situé et moderne

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter le centre ville. L’endroit est très charmant et le personnel a été très serviable en nous laissant la disponibilité de laisser nos bagages pour quelques heures après avoir rendu les clés de laisser chambre.

La localisation est super ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis et notre hôte était disponible pour toutes nos demandes. La chambre était agréable et très propre, plutôt calme car donnant sur une cour intérieure.

Il manque des aménagements communs pour pouvoir s'installer dehors. Quelques tables et chaises dans la cour seraient agréables. .

Una estancia muy comoda y practica a un buen precio y con una ubicación inmejorable.

La ubicacion es buenisima. La habitacion esta muy bien montada, muy comoda, espaciosa y funcional. El personal super atento y acompañando durante toda la estancia y en cualquier necesidad.

El proyecto esta empezando y tienen muchas areas de oportunidad con las areas comunes. Estoy seguro que iran complementando.
