A Plush 2BR Apt Next to Southern Cross Station

we stayed here for 14 nights and genuinely could not have asked for a better home base in melbourne. communication was exceptional from start to finish. the team was already in touch with us about a month before our arrival, making sure everything was organised, and that same level of communication continued throughout our stay and even afterwards. we always felt that help was only a message away. check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience even easier, especially after a long journey. the apartment itself was impeccably clean and extremely well equipped. the amenities left absolutely nothing wanting — everything we could reasonably need for a two-week stay was already there. the kitchen, laundry facilities and thoughtful little conveniences made it feel less like temporary accommodation and more like a very comfortable home away from home. there was also plenty of space for the family, and the beds were comfortable, which made such a difference over a longer stay. we absolutely loved the location. being right in the cbd meant southern cross station, public transport, groceries, shopping, cafés and restaurants were all incredibly convenient. naturally, being in the middle of the cbd comes with the usual city activity, but that was entirely expected and a very small trade-off for such a fantastic location. security was also excellent. access to the building and residential areas was properly controlled, and nothing was simply open to the public without authorised access. that gave us a real sense of privacy and security throughout our stay. even the little practical details were so well thought out — the rubbish chute was right beside the elevators, literally just steps from our apartment door, which was surprisingly convenient during a longer stay. most importantly, the apartment was spotless when we arrived and remained very easy to keep clean and comfortable throughout our stay.

The location is good with several good restaurants close by. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet.

The property advertised a pool but it was not obvious as to where this pool was located. There was no information. I had to request the WiFi password. There were no instructions on how to use the stove top, washing machine etc.

Central location, close to transport, walking distance to CBD, clean and tidy, separate bathrooms and good size.

It needs a Nespresso or similar machine.
