Hotel Mystic Mountain, Pokhara

A friend recommended this hotel, and I'm so glad they did! We were so happy with our suite rooms. Each room is really an apartment with living and dining room and two bedrooms. One room is smaller with a hall access bath; the other is quite spacious with en suite bathroom. There is plenty of HOT water and great water pressure--the shower was wonderful. The pool is really unique because there are two hot tubs behind the pool, which is rare in this area. Everything was kept very clean with staff on hand at all times. The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially compared with others I've seen in Pokhara. Lots of good options (Indian/Nepali, Chinese, Western), and the restaurant also serves excellent food. Beds were very comfortable, and all the furniture was nicer than anything I usually see in hotels. The Annapurna Cable Car is located directly beside the hotel, so access to this was also easy. Our kids loved seeing the cable cars go by. Overall we were so impressed with this property and would love to go back.

The view is great, but it the location in Sedi Village is a bit removed from Lakeside. This could be seen as a plus or minus. For us, it was fine since we have a car, but it would be trickier to rely on public transport or walking.

The electricity went out quite frequently during my stay.
