The farmhouse built in 1800 had a great deal of history and old beauty. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We did not see any ghosts while we there.
Checking in or better yet, finding the access door to the house was difficult. We arrived in the evening, no lighted access, and the walkway was not shoveled. We climbed over the small 1-foot snowbank to reach the door which led us to the door which allowed access. The entrance should be illuminated at best.
Honestly, we joked upon arrival. The farmhouse would be the perfect film set for a vacation gone wrong murder movie!
