Everything was good, except that the owner need to work on parking space.

Parking and sometimes noise.

I liked the warm shower I took - the hot water was hot. I like that we had a private bathroom and working television📺😇. We had a great time watching movies and funny videos. We also listened to music while spending quality time together. I love the area in which the guesthouse is in. I like that there's a safe Shell Garage few houses down.

I didn't like that we didn't have a dustbin in our room, not even in the shared kitchen. We only had a small scholar desk and no pedestals by the bed to put our phones and the TV remotes. I would've like to at least have a mop for the bathroom as the water made a mess while showering. I also didn't like how light the door is. I felt like everyone could hear us. Otherwise, the place was pleasant, decent. We would go again if we can at least have a small bin and have something to wipe the water from the bathroom floor. The bathroom is very small, especially the gap to enter and exit it. Lol just try to not have a beer-belly tog, otherwise you'll have to use a common/shared bathroom 🤣.

The one positive thing I can mention is the owner's wife, who assisted us by arranging alternative accommodation. I appreciate her effort to help us find another place to stay.

Our experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. We booked and paid for accommodation online, only to arrive and be told that the guest house was fully booked. We were advised to cancel our booking, despite having already paid and the payment being non-refundable. The guest house eventually arranged alternative accommodation for us, which we appreciated. However, what followed was an extremely unpleasant experience. At the alternative guest house, we were woken up by strangers who were not staff members asking us for our room keys. There was also a lot of noise, which made us feel uncomfortable and genuinely scared for our safety. What made the situation even worse was that when we tried calling the person who had arranged the alternative accommodation for us, there was no answer. Imagine being in an unfamiliar place, being approached by strangers asking for your keys, feeling unsafe, and not being able to reach the person who arranged your accommodation. We were left feeling vulnerable and uncertain about our safety. Although alternative accommodation was arranged, that does not excuse the stress, inconvenience, and security concerns we experienced. When guests book and pay for accommodation, they expect proper planning, reliable communication, and, above all, a safe environment.
