Location was fine, the cabin had some nice touches, although limited and far less than expected for the cost..
In places it looked like the owners had run out of money when furnishing it. Bedside cabinets looked like they had been made out of pallets. When we arrived the chalet was freezing cold (bedding felt cold and unaired as it was very cold.) Even though we arrived later than expected (6pm,) it would have been nice if some forethought had been put into ensuring the chalet had been made comfortable prior to our arrival. As the underfloor heating was off (floors were uncovered polished concrete) and very cold underfoot, and took hours to warm up, we had to use the heater in the small lounge area. (We have underfloor heating at home so are used to it and we always ensure that the ambient temperature in our home is at a comfortable level. The double bed was a foam mattress and basic metal frame..uncomfortable, and the twin room was only really suitable for children as the beds were very narrow. The accom was advertised as having a TV, yes it did BUT it was only possible to use it with Netflix. As we do not sunscribe to Netflix it was useless. No conventional TV channels were available and as the wifi was very weak it kept buffering when on (you tube.) There was no contact available with the company in charge in case of emergency, as the instruction manual said only to contact them via air b and b, but as we had booked via booking.com this was not possible. There was no phone number for contacting the booking agents who ran the business for the owners. The directions to the property need to be corrected to include direction of arrival so they make sense. When we booked and paid via booking.com it said everything was included which was not correct as then received a communication asking for additional personal details form the owners agents and requiring us to pay additional money for the insurance waiver which was not expected or welcomed. (Normally with booking.com a damage charge is available within the booking conditions.) In all a very unprofessional service.
