The Space:

The Kingdom is a 5,000 sq ft, six-bedroom, four-bathroom home with a castle feel, set at the end of a private cul-de-sac on 5+ acres and backed right up against a mountain. It feels secluded, with paved roads all the way in and a horseshoe driveway for up to ten vehicles. An in-ground pool, a hot tub, a yoga studio room, ping pong and a 16-person dining table make it a natural fit for large families and groups who want to stay together under one roof. Raise a glass at the bar and declare yourself ruler for the weekend.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The in-ground pool looks out over the desert, and the above-ground hot tub is the place to be after dark, with endless views of the night sky. Grill on the BBQ, eat together on the outdoor dining patio and gather around the propane fire pit in the evening. The home backs up to acres of desert land with Joshua trees.



-Living Area-

The home makes an impression from the moment you arrive. Inside, an indoor bar area, a ping pong table and a stack of board games and puzzles keep the group entertained, and a yoga studio room offers a quiet space to stretch.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, two ovens, a stove, a microwave and all the basics, plus a coffee maker, coffee beans, sugar and a grinder. The 16-person dining table seats the whole group for family-style dinners.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The Kingdom has six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Three bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen bed and the yoga room has a queen bed. The sixth bedroom is a bunk-style room with three full beds and two twin beds.



-Surrounding Area-

The Black Rock Canyon hiking trails are the closest outing from The Kingdom, and Joshua Tree Village, Joshua Tree National Park, Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown and La Copine fill out the rest of the map.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



The Neighborhood:

The Kingdom sits at the end of a private cul-de-sac in Yucca Valley, backed by a mountain and open desert, close enough to town for easy errands.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



The road to the home is paved all the way. The horseshoe driveway fits up to 10 vehicles; please ask if you plan to bring more.



Other Things to Note:

-House-Specific Rules-

► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.

► Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, while chemical levels are temporarily higher.



-Pool Heating-

Please note that the pool is not currently heated. The hot tub is available year-round.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Fridays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there is a Ring camera at the front of the house and a few Blink cameras around the exterior of the home, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
