Adria Paradies is the perfect name for this property. It started with a warm greeting from the owner's mom. Even though she didn't speak English, she got us right to Marinko. Whenever we saw her around after that, she was always smiling and quick to say hello. Marinko welcomed us with a quick tour around the property and offered drinks up while we waited for our room to be ready...which it was within 30 minutes of our arrival (even though we got there well before check in). He is an amazing host who is delightful to sit around and chat with. The room itself was perfect. There was a living room with small kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom. The minute we walked into the living room, we had the most amazing view. It was like a post card. But, walking out onto the balcony took our breath away. It was huge with a table and chairs, overlooking the pool and the sea. There was a rack for drying our wet suits and towels and an extra lounger to kick back and relax. Finally a full roll out shade to keep the sun off late in the day. The apartment was spotless. In addition to the futon in the living area, there was a table and chairs to eat and, a TV for the evenings. The small kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom had a large comfy bed with full doors out to the balcony covered with mosquito netting. There was a large armoire and tables on each side of the bed. For clothing overflow, there was a set of drawers in the entry way. The bathroom was efficient and clean...plenty of hot water in the shower and room for toiletries. The property itself is just spectacular. There are multiple levels along the water with plenty of chairs to lay out on. There are umbrellas available to us if you want more shade. There is a nice easy, graded entry into the crystal clear water. There are also spots were you can dive in if you prefer. Bring shoes for the rocks and to avoid sea urchins. If the sea isn't for you, there's a good sized pool for your use with a kiddie area for the little ones. Bring beach towels or buy them in town. Other than that, the apartment has everything there. In June, we needed mosquito spray, not sure about the rest of the year. Just come prepared to relax! I really could go on and on about this property (and I hate to give away what I feel is a secret hideaway), but I will finish by saying we couldn't have made a better choice and I highly recommend a stay here. It's truly Paradise!!!

This is a wonderfully situated apartment right by the sea with a private beach front, swimming pool and bar. There's parking available and you can walk into town easily. The Packlenica national park is a ten minute drive away and Zadar is only forty minutes away. The weather in September is pleasant and comparable to August in the UK so this is an excellent location to visit when summer is over in the UK. The properties are well maintained and the owner/manager was helpful and friendly.

It was the first I had ever been to Croatia and I have to say it is now one of my top 5 holiday destinations. The scenery was stunning and the apartment was out of this world! I mean how often do you get to stay in a apartment with a pool below you and the sea below that. Possibly one of the most picturesque locations i have ever stayed in. The facilites in the complex we stayed in had everything you could need with shops & restaurants just a short walk away. We had the most amazing BBQ in the sunset on our first evening which produced some truely awesome photos. Although out of season the five of us were never without something to do and I think you would need a months holiday in Croatia to even begin to descover the place. The village we stayed in was lovely, the people were so friendly & the food was fabulous. I have already recommended Marinko's Paradise Apartments to everyone I know & highly recommend to anyone reading this, whether there's a group of you like us (20's-27's) or a couple wanting to get away, this is most definitely a place to consider!!

This place really lives up to it's name and is a paradise for those looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.The apartments are spotless, bright and airy with fabulous terrace overlooking the sea.As it is right on the waters edge our days were spent on the sun loungers two feet from the calm blue sea,swimming , relaxing in the clean fresh air, the self service bar a few feet away-bliss! The owners,Marinko and his parents were really friendly and helpful,bringing us to the National Park for a days hiking as part of the service.They've gone to a lot of trouble to make the surrounding gardens attractive with lots of well cared for plants,there is a nice pool too and everything is pristine.The village itself has all you would need- several small supermarkets, a bank and restaurants within walking distance.We particularly enjoyed the fish platter at the waterside Dalmatia restaurant,excellent service too, though when we were there we were the last to leave at 10.30 so definitely not a hot spot for night life!The city of Zadar is only a 40 minute bus ride away so plenty to do there I'm sure, we were on a short break so didn't venture far afield. All in all we had a really good break here and if we were staying longer there were plenty of outdoor pursuits in the vicinity which we promised to investigate on a return visit.Ideal for a relaxing get away, would genuinely recommend it and hope to return.
