Danville, while not quite rural is definitely in the countryside vs. the city and is thus close to many farms such as Cloverdale Quarters and Owen Farm Tours, camping sites such as Hyco Lake and Campground and breweries such as 2 Witches Winery & Brewing Company, Ballad Brewing and Vintages By The Dan. Ballou Park is also right around the corner with disc golf, tennis and hiking trails!
