Lake Como is a luxury tourist destination. In 2014, Lake Como was named the most beautiful lake in the world by the U.S. newspaper The Huffington Post, thanks to its microclimate and its setting dotted with prestigious villas and resorts. Villa Adriana is located in Lierna, just a short walk from the lake; its windows and garden offer enchanting views. It is a recently and tastefully renovated property, spanning several floors (no elevator) over approximately 400 square meters, featuring a garden of about 1,000 square meters, a swimming pool (5x10 meters), and a private parking area for 2–3 cars (depending on their size). The property is laid out as follows: a spacious entryway, a reading/recreation room, a kitchen, a dining room, a large living room with a TV, 3 double bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom and three equipped with TVs), 1 bedroom with a French bed (a one-and-a-half bed), 4 additional bathrooms (including the one in the master bedroom with its own bathroom), terraces and an outdoor dining area, garden, swimming pool, and parking spaces. The property sleeps 7 guests. The house is elegantly furnished, including antique furniture and works of art, and is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, 4 TVs, pool loungers, and an outdoor table and chairs. Cleaning and linen changes will be provided at the beginning and end of each stay. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted inside the house. The villa is located just a few meters from the lake but is also very close to Riva Bianca and Lierna Castle (80 meters). In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the harbor, where the boat service takes you to the most beautiful and well-known towns along the lake (such as Lecco, Mandello del Lario, Varenna, Bellagio, Bellano, Menaggio, Cadenabbia, Como, and Colico).
A short drive away, you can reach Varenna (where you can visit Villa Monastero), Mandello del Lario (home to the world-famous Moto Guzzi), Bellano (where you can visit the Orrido), Dervio (where you can visit the medieval village of Corenno Plinio), and Colico (where you can visit the Fort of Montecchio and the Abbey of Piona). It can also be a good starting point for traveling to Switzerland (St. Moritz is about a two-hour drive away). There are countless opportunities to enjoy sports on Lake Como. From water sports—such as diving, snorkeling, kitesurfing, electric foil, electric SUP, windsurfing, canoeing, and sailing—to mountain sports—including rock climbing, via ferrata, hiking, mountain biking, road cycling, and walking. There are also more traditional sports: tennis, padel, and soccer. There are also numerous cultural and culinary experiences to discover what the surrounding area has to offer. BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE PROPERTY, THE OWNER WILL SEND YOU VIA EMAIL A COPY OF THE SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT (NOT EXCEEDING 30 DAYS PER YEAR), THE PRIVACY NOTICES, AND THE SWIMMING POOL RULES, WHICH MUST BE SIGNED BY THE HEAD OF THE HOUSEHOLD OR THE LEADER OF THE GROUP OF GUESTS, IN PART TO COMPLY WITH OTHER REQUIREMENTS UNDER ITALIAN LAW (TOURIST FLOWS AND PUBLIC SAFETY).
