Tucked away among the tranquil greenery, this retreat boasts contem[orary architecture, mod furnishings, two full kitchens, and a great outdoor space. Enjoy family barbecues on the large stone patio and dine alfresco at the charming picnic table. Wind down after a day on the trail in Acadia, with drinks and conversation around the firepit.
Kick back in the open living area, where a woodstove provides a cozy ambience for movie nights. Upstairs, settle into the furnished loft with a mug of hot tea and a good book on rainy or snowy days. A private washer/dryer and fast WiFi add convenience to longer stays.

Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts.
A flight of exterior stairs is required to access the barn.
The barn is above the owner's woodworking shop that operates between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some noise may be heard from the shop during these hours.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We enjoyed our stay, the property was clean and well-furnished, and the outdoor space was well equipped with a grill, picnic table, and fire pit. The unit over the garage/woodshop was further away from the main property than expected, which was fine for our teends & adults but would not work well with small children. The listing should make it more clear that these are really two 2-BR units, similar in size and 30-40 yards apart from each other; I thought the main unit had 2 BR and the garage unit had only one BR but it was 2 and 2; each unit has a full kitchen and living space.

Guys, it pains me to write my first negative review. I pride myself on finding the best hidden gem rentals and this was not it.
Second, see this: THIS ONE RENTAL POST IS 2 SEPERATE LOCATIONS ON THE SAME PROPERTY. Meaning, my best friends flew 1500 miles in for my birthday trip and I could not stay with them under the same roof. Its advertised as cottage and barn but almost written like "more than one thing can be true at once". Its certainly not more detail about it and all detail and pictures are
