The Glacier View Loft at Duck Lake is strategically located on the East Side of Glacier National Park at Duck Lake, along the Rocky Mountain Front, allowing for beautiful views as you travel to and from the park.
This unit was newly constructed in 2024/25 and boasts 550 square feet of private living space in the loft. The ground floor includes a bathroom, sitting area and full sized washer and dryer.
Easy access is provided to the eastern entrance of the Going to the Sun Road at St. Mary, which is just 12 miles away and does not require a vehicle reservation for access. Additionally, it is only 18 miles to Many Glacier and 45 miles to Two Medicine, the other two major areas of Glacier National Park.
This loft has a fully functional kitchen including a full-sized refrigerator and stove. With a queen bed and a double/double bunk, it can easily accommodate a family. Come enjoy the park!

You will not find a place as nice as this loft within the East Glacier area. The owners take pride in their property and also in the nice amenities they offer their guests. They have a nice water filtration system and they kindly have extra water in the fridge. Nice Meyers soap that is even out of my budget at home. lol. The beds are very comfortable and the couch is clean and relaxing. The shower always had hot water and with two teenagers here that means it really kept up with us. The bathroom is private downstairs which is so ideal. The washer and dryer are powerful and so needed since everything gets dusty from the park. Just cannot say enough great things about this property!

Clean and comfortable loft space for our family of 5, including 3 teens. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and we were able to prepare breakfast and all but one dinner easily during our 4 night stay. The beds and large sectional were comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets for the cool nights. The location is ideal for visiting the Many Glacier area which has many of the popular long hikes, but note that it does require a 2 mile drive down a gravel road (we did not have any trouble in our SUV). Kent & Vicki are wonderful and thoughtful hosts and we would stay here again.

Vey clean and well stocked unit, perfect for our family of 4. We stayed here to have easy access to Many Glacier, St. Mary's and Two Medicine entry points. Beds were comfortable and the onsite laundry was perfect for our hiking clothes. Large open room with huge windows. Owners were very responsive. We ate most meals here but did go out one evening for dinner. Town of Babb is very minimal, it's better to drive to St. Mary's for last minute items.

Our stay at Glacier View Loft was wonderful!It is a clean and quiet place to stay while visiting Glacier. It is very comfortable with a washer and dryer, which is nice for a family and longer stays. Kent and Vicki are quick to respond and have great recommendations for the area.We loved staying in the Babb area. It is a much slower pace, which is nice for vacation vice faster pace of West Glacier. It is also very close to St. Mary’s and Many Glacier entrances. It will require you to go down a gravel road, but was fine in a sedan.The Glacier View Loft is lovely! We would certainly stay here on our next visit to Glacier.
