What a stay! the house was perfect, had everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxed..... We were up every morning to watch the sunrise and on one day we even saw a whale breaching!We will be back!

The place is fantastic! Views are great. It had everything we needed so our stay was awesome. Just a beautiful place to stay and enjoy Hilo.

Its a ways from anything but if you just want a spot to relax next to the water, this might be the place for you.
Well appointed for basic needs with just a few small recommendations to the owner....the alarm is problematic for visitors use, we were home one evening and it went off, i could not disarm and had to call Propert Manager (who was readily available and understanding). The furnishings are very uncomfortable, they are all patio type furniture being used inside and as this location is not in town, staying in is likely, comfortable seating would be preferable. The TV situation is a mess, again as this location is a ways from town, staying in is likely and movie night was not possible. May I recommend getting rid of cable and just providing a Chromecast for visitors to watch from their own source.

Location is the best asset of this property. We enjoyed the view of the ocean and watching for whales in the evenings. We thought the lack of air conditioning would be an issue, but with the windows open, we were very damp at times, but overall very comfortable. Suggestions for improvements to the home would be regular spraying for insects ( ant problem), better quality cooking utensils and pans, and better quality linens. Also, having more than just basic tv channels and maybe some games/ activities on site. Although not the fault of the owner or Evolve, we had night fishermen driving trucks onto the lava rocks/ cliffs and shining their bright head lights into the house at two and three am through dawn several nights. Very difficult to sleep with noise and lights since windows had to be open for comfort. In spite of the few negatives, we still enjoyed our vacation. The sounds of the waves and frogs at night were very relaxing and besides the night disturbances, the neighborhood was very nice. With some improvements for comfort and convenience, we would give this home an even higher rating.
