Port Eugeni

Lovely hotel, great service, close to all amenities. Cambrils is a great base resort from where you can easily travel around Costa Daurada. The train and bus services are excellent. Salou, Sitges, Port Aventura and Barcelona are all within two hours travelling distance. I travelled with my friend and the only negative points I'll make are, that after 10 pm there is little to do and also the locals don't speak much in English (which is fair enough) so, it would help to have a little Spanish. It rained pretty much for the duration and there were roadworks right outside our room (the hotel changed our room over without any trouble). Neither of these circumstances spoilt out stay. All in all, we had a great time!! p.s. If you visit Salou, try to find a cocktail bar at the north end of the seafront called Coco Loco. You won't be disappointed!

Needs a bit more effort to become a four star hotel. For example, the bathroom was not a four. More interesting fruit at breakfast would be a simple improvement. Staff generally efficient but on the cold side, especially the non-Spanish. The bar is very cheap and where to find the most friendly and smiley staff. Excellent location in centre near everything.
