Escape to this charming "camping" cabin at Cobblestone River Resort and Lodge, perfect for a relaxing retreat or outdoor getaway. You have private river access down a moderate slope for fishing, floating, or swimming, plus a range of on-site amenities including a seasonal pool, games, walking trails, a small concession, and more. Kayaks and canoes are available for a fee.
The cabin does not have a kitchen. It has a mini fridge, coffee maker, charcoal grill and microwave only. Meal take out and/or cabin delivery is available.
Cobblestone River Resort & Lodge, is a peaceful retreat tucked away on a scenic property surrounded by forested woods, a beautiful river, and the calming sounds of nature. The property itself is a nature-lover’s dream. Spend your mornings walking the private trails that loop through the forest, spotting deer, wild turkeys, and songbirds along the way. Afternoons are perfect for lounging on the large wraparound deck or grilling out with family and friends. As the sun sets, light up the stone fire pit and toast marshmallows under the stars surrounded by trees and glowing string lights. There’s multiple dedicated game areas with cornhole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, volleyball and outdoor seating for spectators.
Cobblestone Lodge has a path that leads directly to a private rocky beach on the Meramec River, offering an area for swimming, fishing or floating in the river surrounded by nature. There are several outdoor nooks perfect for reading, yoga, or simply taking in the sounds of the woods.
While the main lodge provides all the modern amenities; high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, central heat and AC, an arcade, a camp store, and indoor games, it’s the property itself that makes this stay truly special. Whether you're looking to explore, relax, or enjoy an outing with the family, Cobblestone Lodge offers a rare kind of peace that stays with you long after you leave. A seasonal outdoor pool, sand volleyball court, large fire pit area, and scenic walking trails are all available for guest use. The property also includes a game area with cornhole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and ladder toss, plus a trampoline for kids.
Inside the Main Lodge, you’ll find a guest arcade with classic and modern games, as well as indoor activities like pool, darts, and ping pong. The lodge also offers a camp store with snacks, drinks, memorabilia , ice, and basic supplies. Picnic tables and benches are located throughout the property, and Wi-Fi is available in some areas near the lodge.
Last, but not least, you can schedule a trail ride on horseback and/or pony rides at Cobblestone through Reining Trails. They bring the horses and ponies here!

Whether it’s questions about the area, help with gear rentals, or just a friendly chat, we’re happy to connect and make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. That said, we completely respect your space and understand if you’re here to unplug, explore nature, and enjoy some quiet time. DOGS: If you bring your furry friend, it must be dog, cat, and child friendly, be on a leash outside at all times, and be kenneled when left alone in the cabin. You must immediately clean up and dispose of your dog's waste. If your furry friend is disruptive and/or destructive, we reserve the right to ask you to leave with it (no refunds).

This two bedroom cabin was very clean and had the all essentials for our laid back weekend - it fit our needs perfectly! The resort is a step back into an other era, we enjoyed the nostalgia of simpler times. We walked trails on the property, exploring all of the interesting nooks and crannies. The owners live on the property so we were able to chat with them several times. They are super friendly and shared some of the camp's history as well as some future projects. Even Huck was a gracious host to our Toots, running the woods and jumping into the river from the resort's private access. This is definitely a place we will visit again!!

We had an excellent time for a long weekend. Our kids loved the pool, smores, archery, ping pong and float!
