Welcome to GTL Lodge & Retreat, a custom-built lakefront escape where modern mountain luxury, rustic Montana character, and four-season adventure come together.
Set along the edge of Georgetown Lake with sweeping views of the Pintler Mountains, GTL Lodge was designed for families and groups who want more than simply a place to sleep. This is a place to slow down, reconnect, laugh together, and make the kind of memories that become family stories.
Our family has called Georgetown Lake our happy place since 2018. We designed and built the lodge from the ground up in 2024 and 2025, personally selecting every detail around the way our own family loves to gather, unwind, and vacation. From the open living spaces and lake-facing windows to the bunk room, game loft, hot tub, and outdoor gathering areas, GTL Lodge was thoughtfully created for connection, comfort, and adventure.
The lodge accommodates up to 18 overnight guests, with a maximum of 8 adults. It is especially well suited for families, multigenerational trips, and close friends traveling with children.

Settle in around the stone fireplace after a day on the mountain, curl up with a book while the snow falls outside, or share stories over morning coffee as the sun rises across the lake. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together without feeling crowded.

WINTER
When the snow arrives, Georgetown Lake becomes a winter playground. Discovery Ski Area is approximately 10 minutes away, making GTL Lodge an incredible basecamp for skiing and snowboarding.
The surrounding area also offers snowmobiling, sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country adventures, and ice fishing. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for a soak in the hot tub, a fire, and a cozy evening together.
SPRING
Spring has its own peaceful rhythm as the snow begins to melt, wildlife becomes more active, and the lake slowly comes back to life. It is a quieter season to explore the area, reconnect, and enjoy the changing landscape.

GTL Lodge feels wonderfully removed from the rush of everyday life while still providing convenient access to some of southwest Montana’s favorite destinations.
Discovery Ski Area is approximately 10 minutes away for winter skiing and outdoor recreation.
The historic town of Philipsburg is approximately 15 minutes away, offering local shops, restaurants, treats, historic charm, and family-friendly gem mining.
Golfers can plan a day at Old Works Golf Course in Anaconda, while outdoor enthusiasts will find endless opportunities for fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, scenic drives, and exploring the surrounding mountains.
