Armacaas Mykonos Hotel

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — stunning rooms, furnishings and a gorgeous pool area. Unfortunately, that is where the 5-star experience ends. The biggest disappointment was the staff and customer service. From arrival, the lady at reception was cold, rude and unwelcoming. Almost every interaction with staff felt unfriendly, unhelpful and simply “off.” Dinner was also disappointing, with an older gentleman sitting behind the bar watching sport loudly on his phone throughout our meal, with seemingly no consideration for guests. Other negatives included a confusing hotel entrance, an excessive €15 room service charge, slow responses to requests, and no complimentary water at the pool bar. This was our final hotel after 18 days travelling throughout the Greek islands and, unfortunately, the worst hospitality we experienced. Everywhere else we encountered the warm, friendly Greek hospitality you expect. A beautiful property does not make a 5-star hotel. Five-star service does — and sadly, that was missing here.
