About this villa rental
Villa with trulli located near Ostuni on the road to Cisternino. The 163 sqm villa enjoys a stunning panoramic position, overlooking the valley from the top of a hill. Surrounded by nearly one hectare of terraced sloping land, it is immersed in nature with a pine grove, a lawn with automatic irrigation, 50 centuries-old olive trees, almond trees, and a large panoramic area with an infinity pool that allows guests to admire the breathtaking landscape while swimming.
The spacious outdoor area offers a cool and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying meals during the day or in the evening while overlooking the pool. The exterior also features a traditional stone oven where guests can bake bread and pizzas for up to 5 people, as well as a barbecue area for grilling.
Inside, the villa consists of a bright and spacious living room with a fireplace and kitchen area. The sleeping area includes 4 bedrooms (2 located inside traditional trulli and 2 in the modern section of the house) for a total of 8 beds, along with 3 bathrooms. Outside, there is an additional small kitchen and an external bathroom with laundry facilities. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor poolside shower and another outdoor shower at the back of the villa.
Giorgio and Francesca renovated this old family home to provide guests with modern comforts while preserving a strong connection with the past and local traditions.
The surrounding area is perfect for walks in nature and offers horse riding centers, traditional masserie, and adventure parks, in addition to the beautiful town of Ostuni just 5 km away and the charming village of Cisternino, famous for its historic center and traditional butcher restaurants, only 9 km away. The sea at Villanova and Rosa Marina is 14 km away, but on windy days — or simply when you prefer to relax — the pool will make staying at home just as enjoyable.
The villa is located about 1 km from the paved road, accessible via a fairly manageable white road. However, this ensures complete peace and privacy throughout the year, even in winter, since several villas in the area are inhabited year-round by residents who have chosen this oasis of tranquility as their home, creating a small and supportive community.
The area has also attracted foreign visitors and residents (English, Dutch, and French) who have chosen to live in this enchanting place, following the rhythms of nature, listening to crickets in the evening, the call of owls, or occasionally spotting a fox nearby.
By turning off the lights around the property, guests can admire magnificent starry skies in the cool evening air, thanks to the villa’s elevation of approximately 230 meters above sea level.

A Truly Memorable Experience!My family and I spent one week at Trullo sulla Valle. This was our first time booking a short-term rental, and I have to say I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I was so sad to have to leave.Francesca and Giorgio, our hosts, gave us such a warm welcome, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The house is fantastic for so many reasons: * The location is very private, allowing for maximum privacy while still being close to other homes. The view of the valley is enchanting, especially in the evening. * The spaces are large and comfortable, with each bedroom having its own private bathroom. * The amenities are truly top-notch, offering every comfort you could want (and definitely more than what is listed in the description). * You can choose to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner in different spots on the property, as there are several tables with chairs and umbrellas available. There's even a barbecue area with a wood-fired pizza oven! * There's a small pine grove with hammocks where you can relax in the shade (and park your car, too!). * The house is equipped with every possible amenity (more than my own home!), including a toaster and an American-style coffee maker.I don't want to go on too much, even though there's so much more to say about this place that has truly captured our hearts. We will definitely be back at Trullo sulla Valle soon!
