About this apartment rental

Enjoy the peaceful setting on the edge of the forest in the heart of the Brie region. As someone who is passionate about animals, plants, and nature, I devote much of my free time to my garden and my pets. As a birdwatching enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for new species of birds to spot in my garden or during my nature outings. If you love animals, plants, or birdwatching, or if you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay, come join me. The accommodations are a duplex with one bedroom and one bathroom upstairs. It is fully equipped. A smart speaker is available for your use, as well as high-speed internet access. You can enjoy three terraces, one of which is reserved just for you. The unit is self-contained and located in a gated community with parking and a garage available upon request. The community is gated. The parking area is secure. A barbecue area is reserved for your use. Access to the unit is through a large gate. Coming from the A5, take the Forges exit. The accommodations are located at the corner of Grande Rue and Rue de l’Eglise. Take the first right toward “Le campus de la transition.” We are available to assist you throughout your stay. We live on-site, but your accommodations are private. You’re free to arrive and depart as you please; however, we enjoy meeting our guests to give them a warm welcome, introduce ourselves, and get to know each other. Don’t worry—we’ll stay out of the way but are available if needed. Forges is a very quiet village where life is good. We have a playground for children, a pétanque court, and a soccer field. The Campus de la Transition is also located in the town and is active there, based at the Château de l’Assomption. An on-demand transportation service is available by reservation. However, we recommend having your own vehicle. Both accommodations are located in the same residence and each has a parking space. Each one has a terrace, and a third terrace is also available. They are located in a shared residence with a very discreet tenant. Upon request, we can provide fresh eggs and vegetables. Montereau Brie can also be purchased nearby. We also offer beer and honey from the Gâtinais region upon request. Don’t be surprised by the unexpected—but adorable—presence of our Spanish Mastiff, who loves to cuddle. You’re also sure to run into our two Maine Coons, who love to enjoy the outdoors. Since the entrance to the residence is accessible by car, please drive slowly when entering the parking lot. During the season (September and October), I’d be delighted to take you on outings to listen to the deer rut. There are many hiking trails available starting from Forges.
