About this house rental
The Gîte du plateau is open from May 15th to September 15th.
Located in Aveyron, in the heart of the Grands Causses park, we invite you to discover our region, a territory still preserved where people are welcoming where there is no shortage of good restaurants, where every day you can discover different landscapes that will move you or take you back in time.
To make you appreciate everything that has seduced us and kept us here, we welcome you in a typical house fully restored, equipped with all comforts labeled 3 *Adjoining our residence but with an independent entrance, automatic gate, parking space.

As you enter you will find a main room with a living-dining room, the kitchen open to the living room, then the bathroom and toilet.
Equipment: dishwasher, oven and microwave, gas stove, coffee maker, toaster, crockery and kitchen utensils.

Under a stone vault typical of Caussenard houses.
First bedroom. facing east,
2 single beds, storage, bedside table and lamp for each bed. heating. bed linen provided.

Bedroom 2 . Facing west overlooking a pasture and the setting sun.
Equipped with a 140/190 bed, bedside storage and lamps. Heating . Bed linen provided.
1 cellar, also vaulted, will allow you to shelter bicycles and small equipment, you will also find the washing machine and dryer.
Located on a plateau
900 metres away, the Hamlet of Courry has only 5 houses all year round and is surrounded by fields where sheep and cows graze.
Many birds of prey like to visit us and foxes, roe deer and hares also roost in the vicinity. many hikes from the cottage.
Cultural sites:
Near Sévérac the castle, you will not fail to visit the medieval village and its castle located on a promontory overlooking the sources of the Aveyron; as well as many perfectly preserved villages and hamlets, and many other historic castles.
Many markets in the surrounding villages within 1/2 hour's drive.
Sévérac, Laissac, St Gêniez d'Olt .
Shops and Leisure:
You will find in Sévérac the castle all the shops, doctors, pharmacies, bakeries
supermarket but also swimming pool, swimming and fishing lake, many hikes, as well as canoeing activities in the nearby Gorges du Tarn. Riders will find what they are looking for
with several equestrian centres in the area, but also paragliding and many other outdoor activities.:
