Located right on the NOK (North Sea–Baltic Canal)—the world’s busiest waterway—our vacation apartments are nestled in the picturesque countryside of Mittelholstein, between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
The “Schiffsdeck” vacation apartment on the first floor is tastefully furnished to a high standard in a bright, modern country house style. In this light-filled apartment, you’ll find plenty of space and comfort for your dream vacation. The apartment’s spacious layout invites you to explore—whether together or on your own—offering plenty of open space as well as private retreats. On the large sun terrace, accessible directly from the living and dining area, you’ll find high-quality patio furniture, a Weber gas grill, and, of course, a parasol. The garden, with plenty of lawn space, is ideal for families with children. The apartment is partially wheelchair-accessible; a portable wheelchair ramp is available upon request. In addition to the main entrance, you can enter the apartment directly from the carport via the side entrance. Two spacious bedrooms (double bed 180x200) with TVs invite you to drift off to sleep after a wonderful day of vacation. In addition to the pleated blinds, the bedrooms have electric exterior shutters, so you don’t have to sacrifice a restful night’s sleep even in the summer. The living and dining area, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, offers a magnificent view of the NOK. While cooking in the high-end kitchen, let your imagination wander to the open seas and the wider world, or enjoy watching the ferry’s constant back-and-forth from the spacious living area. The apartment is fully equipped; in addition to the 55-inch TV with a DVD player and Sonoro sound system in the living area, you’ll find a fine selection of books and games. Our young guests are very close to our hearts, and we’re happy to provide you with our toddler equipment for their use. Enjoy relaxing sunny days in the beautifully maintained garden, which offers plenty of space to unwind, recharge, relax, or run around and play. Marvel at the passing ships or watch the bustling activity of the NOK ferry.
