Cozy red Swedish house in the small village of Glommersträsk in northern Sweden.
The accommodations are largely at ground level and easily accessible—there is only one small step at the entrance.
The accommodation consists of a large, open-concept living and sleeping area with two cozy armchairs, a double bed, a single bed, a sitting area with a dining table, and a TV.
A fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and kitchen utensils, as well as a bathroom with a rain shower and toilet, are at your disposal.
We provide freshly laundered bed linens and towels for your stay—so you don’t need to bring any of your own.
All windows in the accommodation are equipped with blackout blinds, so you can sleep reasonably well even in the summer when it stays light out for a long time. Two of the four windows also have insect screens, so you can open them to let in fresh air without worrying about mosquitoes.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the vacation home, and the TV is a smart TV that lets you use Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming services, for example (your own login credentials required).
The vacation home is located on its own property right in the center of town. You can park directly on the property in front of the house or, alternatively, on the street in front of it. In the garden, there’s a small patio with benches—perfect for a cozy break in the fresh air.
The front door key is in a key box right next to the house and can be retrieved there upon your arrival.
The upper floor is private and off-limits.
The accommodations are centrally located in the small village of Glommersträsk—within walking distance, you’ll find a small supermarket, a playground, a gas station, a lookout point with hiking trails through a typical Swedish forest landscape, as well as a small open-air museum with traditional buildings and, in the summer, a free public pool.
