About this house rental
Creole-style house, spacious, comfortable, quality furnishings, opening onto a 180-degree view of mountains, cane fields, and the sea.

A beach less than 10 minutes' walk away (Vinty) and Clugny beach 3 minutes away by car (free shower and parking).
The tropical garden borders a river with water hens, turtles, and iguanas. You may even be lucky enough to encounter raccoons...
Hiking trails along the coast start right from the house.
An 8x4 saltwater pool surrounded by vegetation for relaxation and garden furniture for enjoying a “ti punch” or “planteur” cocktail.
A Weber barbecue for your grilling needs.
For 6 people, 250 m² on two levels, two terraces, three air-conditioned bedrooms with 160 cm beds in two of them, two 80 x 190 cm beds in the third, mosquito nets on the windows, two walk-in showers, two separate toilets.
A very well-equipped 24 m² kitchen.
You will have access to the entire apartment. Two rooms are reserved for us to store our personal belongings, an office, and a small dressing room. A fridge-freezer will be at your disposal in the kitchen; the other will be reserved for our belongings.
There is also a cat in the house, but you won't have to take care of it. It has its own automatic food dispenser and sleeps outside. It is not allowed on the beds, armchairs, or sofas inside. It is discreet and not a thief, a true independent Creole cat.
The nearest shops are a 7-minute walk away: supermarket, pharmacy, wellness center, dentist, doctors, pizzeria, and Creole restaurants.
The other beaches, restaurants, and shops in Deshaies and Sainte Rose are a 10-minute drive away, as are Grande Anse and the botanical garden.

From the marvelous outdoor verandah with views of mountains and ocean and sea breezes blowing through, to the well appointed kitchen and the beautiful pool and gardens, this home is a magical place. Beaches and walking trails were nearby as were grocery, pharmacy and other shops. This is a beautiful and out of the way part of Guadeloupe with spectacular and uncrowded beaches. We loved the month we spent here.

A beautiful home with great hosts. We spent every evening on the terrace. The pool was available when we weren't ready for the beach. Everything work flawlessly. We had no needs that were not met. We absolutely loved staying at this home on the Basse Terre side of Guadeloupe. We hit the beaches, the rain forest, and ventured over to the the Grand Terre side to grab the ferry for a day trip to Marie Gallant. Close by were plenty of restaurants and a pair of grocery stores one that was less than 2 minutes by car.
