About this house rental
Welcome to Mogaard Estates! Our rustic 1900 farmhouse sits on 6 peaceful acres shared with our vineyard, orchard, and boutique winery. We’ve preserved the farmhouse charm while adding modern comforts, including a large eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, and one-of-a-kind bar. Located 23 minutes from Welch Village, 25 minutes from Red Wing, 30 minutes from Rochester, and 45 minutes from MSP Airport. Mayo Clinic patient discount available for guests visiting Rochester.
Our farmhouse offers spacious common areas designed for relaxing and gathering. Guests can enjoy a large eat-in kitchen with double ovens, a formal dining room for group meals, and a unique handcrafted bar area. The home features comfortable living spaces and bedrooms that maintain the original farmhouse character while offering modern comfort. Outside, guests can enjoy the peaceful country setting across 6 acres shared with our vineyard, orchard, and boutique winery.
Guests will have full access to the entire house and surrounding property during their stay. The only areas not accessible to guests are the winery production area, certain designated outbuildings on the property, and storage closets used for cleaning supplies and restocking. These restricted areas are clearly marked for guest awareness.
We respect our guests’ privacy and aim to make your stay as relaxing as possible. We do not interact with guests unless assistance is needed, but we are always available by message or phone if you have questions or need anything during your stay. Because the property also includes our vineyard and winery, you may occasionally see us working on the grounds, but we will not enter the house or disturb your stay.

Coziest, cleanest and best amenities of any vacation rentals I've stayed at. My family and I loved our stay. Large bedrooms and community spaces. Hosts were very thoughtful about what a traveler may need or want during a stay as it seemed everything we needed was on hand.

The place was fantastic for six adults for a wedding weekend. All amenities needed with present. We were also able to enjoy relaxation outside around a fire pit. The place is very clean. We very much enjoyed the aesthetics.

Here for pur daughter's wedding at Spruce Hill. I cannot express how beautiful relaxing the stay was. The grounds are peaceful and perfect for entertaining and just visiting. My mom was reminded of her childhood. The mead is amazing so get some! The amenities are well thought out and I wish we could have spent more time just enjoying everything. 100% better than a hotel, at felt at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone from the cities looking to get away, a great girls weekend location, or anyone coming in for a wedding!

We absolutely loved everything about this property- from the moment we arrived at the property we felt welcomed and loved the country vibe looking out at farm fields. The farmhouse is restored with modern amenities and stunningly decorated to maintain vintage farmhouse feel. The owners took extra care to make sure every comfort was taken care of and we would definitely consider staying here again!
