About this house rental
Escape to the peaceful charm of Lake Wedowee at cozy Evergreen Cottage! This retreat truly has something for everyone.
1. Shared private lake access to make launching kayaks and boats easy.
2. Hot tub, Separate refundable deposit required for use
3. Large fenced in back yard, perfect for cornhole or letting kids & pets play.
4. Gigantic screened in porch for darts, reading, or game day.
5. Charcoal grill and outdoor dining area.
6. Close proximity to both downtown Wedowee & Lonnie White Boat Ramp.
The main level of the cottage features a well equipped kitchen, dining area, spacious family room and the primary bedroom & bathroom. Upstairs you'll find the 2nd bedroom & bathroom which sleeps 4 comfortably on the 2 sets of double bunk beds.
The back yard is made for hanging out. The screened-in porch has a lake view, tons of comfortable seating, darts, games, and a tv for watching football in the fall. The attached uncovered deck is perfect for grilling & dining. The yard is fenced, making it safe for kids & pets to play. The lower deck is a short walk across the yard and overlooks the lake, this is where you'll find the hot tub and fire pit.
The home shares access to a private boat ramp and deck overlooking the water. This area is great for launching kayaks or small boats. *Lonnie White public boat ramp is also just up the road.
Three cars or a boat trailer will easily fit in the driveway. No garage access.
*Please note: One side of the fence adjoins the neighbors yard. They have a few pups of their own, very friendly but may bark to welcome new friends.
* Please note that Alabama Power lowers the water level in the fall to prepare for winter and spring rains, then raises it back to summer pool levels by May.

Very nice home. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. Beautiful back patio. Property manager, Brian, was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions.
