Casa das Heras, our beautiful holiday home is set in its own private walled garden in a peaceful rural setting, yet very close to superb the beaches and resort areas of western Albufeira.
No expense has been spared in creating our superb luxury villa. You can pay 3 times this rental in Quinta do Lago for the same size and standard of villa. Easy Self Catering
Especially for larger parties, If you would like to take the pain out of the cost of dining out regularly, or the strain out of cooking for your party whilst on holiday, the nearby Apolonia Supermarket at Gale offers a daily range of ready made meals in their delicatessen which are excellent. They are normally available every day as starters, main course and desserts and you buy it by the kilo so you can take as much or as little as you like.
The menu changes each week.
The front hall with guest wc off leads to the huge sitting dining room which measures 30ft x 30ft!, with log burning stove, large dining table, satellite TV with BBC, ITV, Sports channels and a large video library with over 36,000 films, music system. Two sliding doors lead to the terrace, pool and garden. The well fitted kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine and a six seater dining table. There is a covered BBQ off the kitchen, and a separate laundry room with washing machine. On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and door to the pool and terrace. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and door to terrace with good views.
Stairs lead to the first floor where there is another sitting area with TV and a door to a big roof terrace with lovely views. On this floor are another two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and doors to the terrace. The whole of this luxury villa has been superbly furnished and decorated to the highest standard. All bedrooms and the sitting room have air conditioners / heaters making Casa das Heras ideal for both summer and early and late season holidays. Swimming pool towels are provided for guests use.
Our large private swimming pool is 80cm deep at one end and 1.40m at the other end, and is heated to 25 degrees included in the rental. It can also be heated to 28 - 30 degrees at extra cost. There are easy steps and a built in seat along the shallow end with water around 30 cm deep. The grounds are very private and spacious with a huge lawned area by the pool for Croquet. A croquet set is provided.
We have an outside dining pergoda and a great built in barbecue next to it, table tennis under a second pergoda.
Casa das Heras enjoys a quiet location in Vale de Parra, close to beaches, shops, restaurants etc. Albufeira is 3 miles away. It is 3 minutes walk to a good restaurant, two bars, a supermarket, fish monger and a takeaway food shop, and just 5 minutes drive to lots of sandy coves, beaches and a golf course. In less than five minutes drive is the village of Guia where Sir Cliff Richard has his own villa and vineyard. The vineyard can be visited on a tour. Guia boasts over 20 restaurants and is where the world famous chicken piri piri was first made. Try one of the specialist restaurants for this tasty dish. Don't miss the chance to see the fantastic Dolphin show at the nearby Zoo Marine Park.
Maid service is 3 days per week (more if you want) and we have a local Villa Manager / Housekeeper who is on hand to give any information or help you may need.
We can arrange reliable reasonably priced car hire at Faro Airport, and taxi or mini bus transfers.
For those not familiar with the Algarve or Albufeira, the area to the west of this popular resort is considered the best places to stay by seasoned visitors. You will find at least eight beautiful sandy beaches and coves within just a few minutes of our small selection of villas, most with beach bars and restaurants. There are several well stocked supermarkets and a huge selection of good restaurants to choose from. Although close to the Algarve’s most popular resort Albufeira, we find most of our guests only pay the odd visit into Albufeira, preferring the beauty and peace and quite of the area around our villas, and its fabulous beaches. Beautiful villa which is very well equipped, comfortable and has fantastic outdoor space.
The villa is maintained and cleaned to a high standard and was perfect for our young children (especially the well heated pool!).
Villa is well located for local shops, restaurants and beaches, yet in a quiet and secluded setting.

We stayd there for 2 weeks with 4 adults + 2 children. House very well kept with all features as per web site. Great pool, well heated in October. Service every second day excellent. Highly recommended for families.
