My mother and I got to be the first guests in this mountain cabin, and had a lovely weekend-- we especially appreciated the location and the fantastic view. It was spacious and clean, and I imagine with a few more books and games around the place and the woodstove lit, it would be a very cozy winter hideaway. We did run into some issues that were probably the product of not having enough work to make the place ready yet- there were consistent issues with the door lock not letting us in with the code and requiring a lot of messages back and forth. We also experienced a shower leak that knocked out the water for a bit. Shane and Eve were very responsive but it was still inconvenient that these things were going on. Hopefully any remaining issues with the cabin will continue to be resolved for future guests, because the place seems promising. I definitely want to recommend Shane and Eve for being extremely attentive to our needs during our stay.
