The solidly built, single-story “Kogge” vacation homes are mostly located in the completely car-free area of our beautiful vacation village—a quiet, out-of-the-way spot with a view of a body of water and an old orchard. Luggage carts are available in the homes within the car-free area to help transport your luggage. The cottages feature approximately 60 m² of living/usable space and can accommodate up to 6 people in some cases (please refer to the description of the individual units). In addition to 2 bedrooms (see unit descriptions for amenities), a bathroom (shower/toilet), and a storage room, they also feature a spacious living room with access to a furnished terrace and an adjoining kitchen with a dining area (4-burner stove/oven—some units glass-ceramic cooktop—refrigerator/freezer, some with a microwave and dishwasher). Non-smoking homes—free Wi-Fi—pets allowed—bread roll delivery service from Easter through October!
The solidly built, single-story vacation home No. 315, of the “Kogge” type, is located in the completely car-free part of our beautiful vacation village—a quiet, out-of-the-way location with a view of the Wettern. The house was completely renovated in 2025 and has approximately 60 m² of living/usable space. It can accommodate up to 5 people (+1 toddler in a travel crib), features a step-free entrance, and has a fenced-in property. In addition to a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed and a pull-out bed, a bathroom (walk-in shower/toilet), a guest restroom, and an interior storage room with a washing machine, as well as a spacious living room with a fireplace and an open-concept kitchen (ceramic cooktop/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher) with a dining area. Access to the furnished terrace is from the living room. A luggage cart is available in the garden shed for transporting luggage. Non-smoking home—free Wi-Fi—pets allowed—bread roll delivery service from Easter through October!
A vacation for the whole family at the Kogge vacation home in the Altes Land vacation village. The vacation village is located directly on the Elbe dike, on the grounds of an old fruit farm in the municipality of Hollern-Twielenfleth. Whether young or old—every guest is treated like royalty in the vacation village, and four-legged friends are also warmly welcomed in most of the houses. At the service center, washing machines and dryers can be used by prior appointment and for a fee. In addition to bike rentals and a playground, the vacation village also features a multipurpose field for soccer, Swingo bowling, bocce, chess, and table tennis. Take a kilometer-long walk along the dike, go biking or rollerblading, daydream on the Elbe beach, watch the children play with friends, and in the evening, relax comfortably in your vacation home or enjoy a convivial gathering at the “Deichblick” café & restaurant with its summer terrace. In just a few minutes, you can reach the multigenerational park, the heated outdoor pool right on the Elbe, and the magnificent sandy beach along the Elbe. Experience a wonderful vacation in what is arguably the most beautiful Elbe vacation village between the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Stade.
