WELCOME TO SHOTSKI'S LODGE — YOUR MOUNTAIN HOME IN ANGEL FIRE
Tucked away in a peaceful forest setting just 100 yards from Angel Fire's Heading Home ski run, Shotski's Lodge combines convenient mountain access with the privacy and tranquility of a secluded cabin.
This recently built, mountain-modern home offers ski-in/ski-out access in winter and bike-in/bike-out access during mountain biking season. Whether you're planning a family ski vacation, a getaway with friends, or a few quiet days surrounded by nature, you'll find a comfortable, thoughtfully equipped place to call home.
COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR UP TO 10 GUESTS
The cabin features five beds and two full bathrooms:
• Main bedroom: One king bed
• Second bedroom: Two queen beds
• Open loft: Two queen beds
The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and also serves as a recreational space with foosball and shuffleboard.
The layout works well for families, couples traveling together, and groups of friends who enjoy spending time together.
RELAXATION & ENTERTAINMENT
After a day on the mountain, return to the comforts of the cabin:
• Private outdoor hot tub surrounded by forest
• Expansive back deck with comfortable seating and beautiful sunsets
• Outdoor fire pit for evenings under the stars
• Cozy wood stove with firewood provided
• Game loft with foosball and shuffleboard
One of the most enjoyable aspects of staying at Shotski's Lodge is the surrounding wildlife. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors, often wandering through the trees near the cabin.
A THOUGHTFULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
We believe a vacation rental should have a kitchen that makes cooking enjoyable, not frustrating.
The kitchen at Shotski's Lodge is stocked with quality cookware, utensils, and appliances, including:
• Nespresso coffee machine
• Traditional drip coffee maker
• Air fryer
• Slow cooker
• Waffle maker
• Blender and toaster
• A wide selection of cookware and kitchen essentials
Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before skiing or sharing a family dinner, the kitchen is ready for you.
PRACTICAL AMENITIES FOR MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES
We've included thoughtful extras that make an active mountain vacation more comfortable:
• Dedicated dryer for ski boots, gloves, and helmets
• Fiber-optic internet for streaming and remote work
• Tankless water heater for unlimited hot water
• Everyday essentials including shampoo, paper towels, and firewood
AN OUTSTANDING FOUR-SEASON LOCATION
In winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Angel Fire Resort, with the Heading Home ski run approximately 100 yards from the cabin.
During summer, Angel Fire transforms into a mountain biking destination, with convenient access to the resort's trails. Hiking and other outdoor activities offer plenty of ways to explore the surrounding mountains.
Fall brings colorful foliage, cooler temperatures, and beautiful scenery.
Of course, you don't have to be adventurous to enjoy your stay. Relaxing in the hot tub, reading on the deck, watching wildlife, or gathering around the fire can be just as rewarding.
MOUNTAIN ACCESS & PARKING
Ski-in/ski-out access depends on snow conditions. When direct ski-out access isn't ideal, the El Camino drop-off point is approximately two minutes away by car.
AWD/4WD is recommended for driveway access during snowy or rainy conditions. Alternatively, parking is available at the top of the cul-de-sac, approximately 100 feet from the cabin.
PETS WELCOME
Up to three pets are welcome with a $200 pet fee. Unauthorized pets are subject to a $500 fee.

An exterior Ring floodlight camera is installed outside the cabin.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super clean with lots of extras. The host was super responsive to our questions and needs. Even though we stayed the week before the mountain opened for the season, we still enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and towns. Hope to visit again when everything is open!!!

Absolutely amazing! We used this house as our base camp for hiking in the area and it was the perfect location. After a long day of hiking we’d come back, make dinner, and enjoy the hot tub. At times it felt like we were in the middle of a wildlife preserve as we were treated to deer, elk, and even a bear right from the back porch! This house was perfect, met every expectation and more! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

My family and I had a great weekend in Angel Fire staying in this property. The hot tub was hot and ready after our days skiing. The ski in/ski out was manageable and easier than driving down the mountain. The home was stocked with nice toilet paper and paper towels. Sometimes, it’s the little things! It was nice not to have to think about things like spices and dishwashing liquid. Our boys loved all the games. Highly recommend!

Cannot express how lovely this house is. Perfectly secluded location, clean, well-stocked, great communication with house managers.... My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary with our pups. Lots of nice peaceful walks and beautiful sunsets. We will be back!
