Escape to the peace, quiet and beauty of Manitoulin Island with a stay at our bright, child and senior-friendly, updated waterfront bungalow in South Baymouth which sleeps 6.
Tucked along a quiet shoreline with treed views across the bay, this fully equipped home is the perfect spot for a relaxing island escape in the spring, summer and fall.
Just a 2-minute drive from the Chi-Cheemaun ferry coming from Tobermory, or a scenic 45-minute drive from Little Current, your vacation begins the moment you arrive.
Our single-level bungalow comfortably sleeps 6 and features a queen bed in the main bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom and a new queen-size sofa bed in the living room.
This carpet-free home has mostly new furnishings and is ideal for those with mild mobility concerns. While not fully accessible, ramp access is available at the back door and there’s a walk-in bath/shower with accessibility door for added comfort.
Outside, spend your days swimming/snorkeling in our pristine clear water with shallow entry leading to almost 4' at end of the dock, with deeper water a short distance away. Lounge on the new extended dock, relax by the new sandy firepit enjoying our stunning lake views or enjoy a new back deck with patio seating, umbrella and BBQ. Note - road in front of the waterfront is a very quiet dead end used to access 3 cottages.
Stroll 12 minutes to the ferry dock to watch the Chi-Cheemaun, visit nearby shops, restaurants, and the local playground. Explore Manitoulin’s beaches, trails, museums and scenic drives or enjoy boating/sailing, fishing, golfing and horseback riding.

• New electric fireplace
• Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooktop, wall oven, microwave and dishwasher
• All linens & towels provided
• Hair dryer, curling iron
• Toys, books & board games
• Initial setup of some coffee, tea, cooking spices/oil, paper towels, liquid dish soap, dish sponge, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, shower soap, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, toilet paper and propane for BBQ.
Just bring clothes and groceries—or shop in Mindemoya or Manitowaning, 20–25 minutes away. A convenience store and gas station are also less than 1 minute drive.

What a great time I had with my mom for her 90 birthday. Made wonderful memories. The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay . Highly recommend this little piece of paradise! The hosts were amazing!

Location, location, location. Minutes away from the ferry and right on the bay. We could sit and watch the water for hours, through the front window or from the shore. Cute street, nice neighbours. Not a rustic cabin, instead an older bungalow but with all the conveniences. Very clean, new furniture, super comfy. Already planning to book again next summer!

Sandy’s place was a wonderful base for our explorations of Manitoulin. The house is very well equipped and organized and has a beautiful view of the bay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful property. Clean. Well equipped (maybe over equipped if that’s possible!) Comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. We have stayed in several vacation properties and this was as good as any we have stayed in. Sandy was helpful and available and easily contactable any time, and very gracious with her time to help us. The location is great—easy access to the water (obviously) and South Baymouth, and the rest of Manitoulin. The neighbours and neighbourhood were also very friendly and welcoming. We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to stay with you again.
