The first house is laid out as follows:
Ground floor:

- Bedroom 1: with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: with two single beds pushed together to form a double bed
- Bedroom 3: with two single beds

The second house (a converted barn) is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A living area with a home cinema and a kitchenette
Upstairs:
- A bedroom with 3 single beds
- A shower room with shower and toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, ironing board and iron.
Outside:
- A private, unheated swimming pool, open from 15 May to 15 September and fully secure (lockable gate), with an adjoining room featuring a shower and toilet
- A beautiful 1,500 m² garden with views over the vineyards and a terrace with furniture to enjoy the sunny days
The house is ideally situated in a hamlet in Puisseguin, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market...
Activities:
Walks & hikes: Loops ranging from 8 to 17 km around Puisseguin, Montagne and Lussac, through vineyards, woods and past medieval castles.
Medieval heritage: Visit Puisseguin Castle and Monbadon Fortress, both dating from the 14th century.
Romanesque churches: Saint-Martin de Monbadon and Saint-Pierre de Puisseguin, listed as Historic Monuments.
Vineyards: Wine tastings at family-run estates such as Château Clarisse or La Rose des Vents.
Local appellation: Discover Puisseguin–Saint-Émilion wines at local winegrowers and cooperatives.
Outdoor activities: Canoeing on the Dordogne in Pessac, suitable for all.
Family activities: Vélorail and steam train in Guîtres, for a fun day out.
Nearby excursions: Saint-Émilion, Castillon-la-Bataille and Libourne, rich in heritage and local charm.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (2 vehicles).
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Bordeaux-Saint-Jean railway station, 60 km away
- Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport is a 1-hour drive away
Other notes:
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- Swimming pool: Children must be supervised by a parent at all times whilst swimming. Opening dates are subject to change and depend on favourable weather conditions.
- Bed linen and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (to be arranged and paid for with our on-site partner). The prices quoted are for guidance only and are subject to change by our partner.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please ensure you leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the times indicated is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.
