Welcome to the Lederer Vacation Rental—a secluded retreat in a completely private location on the outskirts of Übersee am Chiemsee. The property is located on a former farmstead called “Lederer,” though we completely rebuilt the house from scratch in 2022, combining modern living comfort with the charm of the Chiemgau Alps. Here, you can enjoy peace and privacy without sacrificing proximity to amenities: Bakeries, a supermarket, restaurants, and the Übersee train station are within walking distance or easily accessible by bike. The A8 highway (Munich–Salzburg) is also just a few minutes away—ideal for day trips to Salzburg, Munich, or around Lake Chiemsee. The location is perfect for nature and mountain lovers seeking quiet, nature-oriented accommodations. Lake Chiemsee, the Chiemgau Alps, hiking and biking trails, and numerous recreational activities are practically right on your doorstep.
Directions by car:
The vacation rental is easily accessible via the A8 highway (Munich–Salzburg). Take the Übersee exit and follow the road through town (Feldwieser Straße) to the roundabout; take the second exit, then turn left after about 100 meters onto Wolferstraße. After about 200, turn right onto Albererweg. The vacation rental is located at the end of Albererweg. Parking is available right at the property.
Arriving by train:
From the Übersee train station, located on the Munich–Salzburg line, you can reach the vacation rental in just about 10 minutes (900 m) on foot.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
We—the host family—live in the house ourselves, which we built from scratch with great care. We welcome our guests personally on-site and are happy to answer any questions.
The stylishly furnished Lederer vacation rental is located in the attic of a newly built house (2022) and offers 90 m² of spacious living area for up to 6 people. The apartment features high-quality furnishings and a clean, modern design with plenty of wood, including solid oak floorboards in the living and sleeping areas, as well as exposed rafters with skylights that create a bright and natural atmosphere. There are two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed (180x200 cm), as well as a sleeper sofa in the open-concept living/dining area. The spacious living area combines a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy sitting area with a smart TV. A special highlight is the large balcony with unobstructed views of the mountains and the surrounding countryside—perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink; a hair dryer is provided. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property. The apartment is accessible via a separate staircase (not wheelchair accessible).
A crib and high chair can be provided upon request.
