Cozy, Relaxing Family-Sized House/near the ferry, parks, shopping & downtown!

Many bedrooms but not very clean. Many fruit flies all around main floor. We kept all foods packed away in fridge but still saw many flies throughout our stay (only 2 nights, 3 days). We were a party of 4 (2 kids under 6) and 2 adults. We asked for extra bath towels since there were only 4. We do usually re-use towels but we like having extra towels when washing hair or if kids need to bathe more than once a day from getting dirty and dont want to re-use damp towels. The host refused to supply more towels and said there was more than enough for 4 people. Host also refused to acknowledge property was not well cleaned despite taking pictures and showing her. There were dirty dishes in dishwasher when we arrived and we also found several loaves of bread left behind with an expiry date from 2023 in the kitchen. One of the upstairs bedrooms was too hot despite having air conditioning since the property's vents are not too good either. The host is very responsive, which we did appreciate but generally, not very helpful. The host contacted vrbo while we were at the property to let us know that there was nothing wrong with it even though we had no intentions of complaining to vrbo. Host clearly does not appreciate constructive criticism and does not seem willing to change anything. Overall, if you have a large party, the property may be good for the price since there were 4 bedrooms and the upstairs rooms had multiple beds, but we will not be staying here again.
