This expansive, 5000+ sq. ft. Mediterranean Hacienda was designed by famed architect Richard Rhodes in the late 90`s and has been equipped with all the modern amenities, combining Old World beauty with Modern Luxury.
The state of the art kitchen is any Chef`s dream with 6 gas burners, a flat top grill, an indoor wood fired grill, 2 sub zero freezers and 2 refrigerators, outdoor BBQ with 3 burners, indoor and outdoor wine fridges, with well stocked cupboards with ample supplies and culinary gadgets to create a vacation full of delicious gourmet meals for your friends and family.
Just steps outside is a garden oasis where you and your guests can enjoy al fresco dining, a poolside spritz, or relax in the private built in spa or sauna. You`ll be surrounded by flower filled climbing vines, olive orchards, swaying palms and citrus trees.
Ready for some Z`s, retreat to one of the 6 beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms. Grab a book from the well stocked library and curl up in the reading nooks.

Guests have access to the full 10 acre grounds. The vineyards and orchards surrounding the Hacienda are great for walks. The Game Room is located across the courtyard from the Hacienda House, it has a sign reading `Hacienda Hall`. All other outbuildings are for storage and staff and are kept locked during guests stay. The vineyard is a working vineyard, there is staff on site tending to the vineyards, property and gardens from time to time.
A manager will be present at check in or will send a check in video with information on access and the amenities. They will be available via VRBO, phone, and text at all times during their stay. If there is an issue, please contact the manager so they can solve the problem.
Corral de Tierra is very quiet, peaceful, and serene. While the property is in a rural location, and a car is necessary for exploring the region, there are beautiful roads for cycling or walking around the property. There are also lots of parks within a short drive.
The closest public transport is the municipal bus which picks up at the corner of Corral de Tierra Rd and Highway 68. Your host can help coordinate a driver or cab if needed. Uber/Lyft and other ride-share services are not a great option at this property.
PLUMBING: The property has delicate plumbing. Please be aware of this throughout your stay. Do not put anything besides toilet paper into the toilet.
POOL, HOT TUB & SAUNA: The pool is not heated except by request (although the temperature stays nice during many of these months). Heating for the pool is available with advance warning and an additional fee. Pool heating fee is $500 regardless of the duration of stay, and we DO NOT offer heating in December, January and February. This is actually less than it costs to heat the pool up in most cases, so the pricing is not negotiable (the pool is very deep). Maximum pool temp is 85, maximum hot tub temp is 104. Please inquire with your host to add the heated pool as an amenity. There are pool towels in one of the brown deck boxes on the patio near pool.
CELL RECEPTION: There is no wireless cell phone coverage at the property because of the location. We have reliable wifi throughout the property, pool area, and outbuildings. Please keep this in mind if it will be an issue for you.
INFANT/TODDLER BEDS and HIGH CHAIRS: We have Pac n Plays (Baby Bjorn brand) available for the Hacienda House upon request as well as high chairs. They must be requested prior to check in. These beds are a `travel crib` style` and we do provide clean sheets.
