Welcome to Kenwood Cabins! This is the Bougainvillea Bunkhouse. Named for the Bougainvillea plants and their beautiful flowers that are planted on the property! A cozy cabin retreat awaits in Hermitage. This lovely 1-bedroom cabin features a queen bed and a futon, perfect for a small group of guests. Enjoy the soothing ambiance of the surrounding nature while staying comfortable with amenities like AC. Make your vacation one for the books with a stay at our place. Additional amenities include TV/DVD, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, Ninja Air Fryer/Oven Combo, double burner, Keurig coffee maker, griddle, silverware/drinkware, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, salt and pepper. Ala carte items available are farm raised Angus ground beef and farm fresh eggs (please message if you would like these items). Trail beside the cabin leads to a stocked community pond. Pomme de Terre access within 1.5 miles. Restaurants within 1 mile include Pomme De Ritas Mexican restaurant and the Crappie Hole Bar and Grill. Laundromat in Hermitage within 5 miles. Lucas Oil Speedway is just a 10 minute drive. Lots of fun for the whole family in a friendly, small town setting.

We stayed at the Cozy cabin for a 2-night weekend in July. We had friends staying at Nemo campground and I'm just not that interested in ground sleeping! This was a perfect alternative for me, my wife and our 21 y/o son. He slept on the futon that folded down and my wife and I shared the bed. Getting in the cabin was EASY based on instructions sent to us by the owner. Super clean, smelled good when we went in. Was literally 2 minutes from the mexican place at Carson's corner and just about 8 minutes from Nemo.Fridge was great for drinks/food that we were bringing to Nemo. Also convenient to the Niangua for float tripping (maybe a 40 min drive). We will try to rebook each year.
