What a great place! Well organized, spotless, all in great shape, and the host Melanie was awesome to work with and super responsive.We loved the area, the pond right across the road is beautiful, not for swimming but still fun to visit, especially with a kid who likes to throw rocks in the water. Very easy drive to Camp Plymouth State Park, which is small but beautiful and very well run, and has a playground, boat rentals, and a swimming beach on Echo Lake. Only 15 minutes to Ludlow with a big supermarket and other shopping. Reasonable half hour drive to Killington as well. Also recommend checking out Buttermilk Falls which is very close by by car, not a lot of flow in the fall but I bet in the spring it’s gorgeous. Use caution driving the road from the property down to Ludlow, it’s windy, plenty of drop offs, no guard rail. Not a problem if you pay attention, but the speed limit is your friend on that road.One thing to be aware of is that the bedrooms are not all close to each other, the secondary king bedroom and the queen bedroom are but the primary king and the twin are in an addition on the back of the house. This wasn’t a problem, just something we didn’t realize up front.Overall a really excellent experience, felt like we were there a lot longer than we were. Thank you!
