    So so new. And huge. Two twin beds, a dining area on tatami mats, a bathroom with three separate rooms for sink / shower-bath / toilet, kitchen area. The bath was really deep too. And the beds were really comfy. All facilities were great - aircon, heating, fridge, blackout shutters, kettle, cutlery, pots/pans. Location was perfect. Close to the station and buses, walking distance to the seaside area, lovely little market under the train tracks. Only tiny issue was that the automatic lock on our door kept setting off the lock alarm! Once we figured out how to reset it it was fine (press star, enter pin, press star). Such good value.

    1. Very clean , comfortable, quiet and spacious room 2. roughly 4-5 mins walk from beppu station 3. They provide washing machine and dryer with detergen 4. Foods and restaurants easily available at beppu station 5 The owner did not provide the passcode before check-in. As a result, we were stranded outside the property and had to seek help from passers-by to contact the owner by phone, as we do not understand Japanese. It took quite some time before we were finally able to obtain the passcode. It would have been much better if the owner had provided the passcode earlier.
