Vila Islet View

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Islet View on São Miguel. The view was absolutely perfect — you overlook the entire ocean surrounding Vila Franca do Campo, which made every moment feel special, from sunrise to sunset. The villa itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect family holiday, and the WiFi worked well throughout the entire house. What really stood out was the design: the use of lava stone furniture gave the home a unique character — modern, yet still very authentic to the island. The host was extremely friendly and gave us a very warm welcome, making us feel at home right away. Whenever there were small issues, they responded immediately and handled everything quickly and efficiently. Our children had an amazing time as well — searching for salamanders, playing in the jacuzzi, and going on little adventures in the fenced garden. It truly felt like a place where both adults and kids could fully relax and enjoy. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, combining breathtaking views with excellent hospitality. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting São Miguel.

the villa is not directly accessible from the main road. You need to take a short detour through some narrow streets in Vila Franca do Campo to reach it, which can be a bit tricky at first — but once you arrive, it is absolutely worth it.
