Alina Hostel Baku

I want to start by saying that I am not really a hostel person. Before arriving here, I had unfortunately had several very frustrating experiences in Baku, including problems with my two previous bookings, and I arrived at this hostel feeling quite disappointed and angry. Then I met Mr Vugar, the owner, and honestly, he completely changed my experience. He showed me a level of kindness that I had not encountered before during my time in Azerbaijan. He was incredibly kind, flexible, accommodating and genuinely concerned about my well-being. I explained my health issues to him, and he made sure I had a very comfortable room and did everything he could to make my stay easier. Even though I was only paying for a dormitory in a hostel, he provided me with a level of care and service that felt more like a three-star hotel. I am extremely grateful to him for that. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the city centre, on a lovely pedestrian street. It is lively in the evening, but the hostel itself is very peaceful and quiet. The people staying here are also particularly friendly, which is not always the case in hostels, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming the atmosphere is. This is not a luxury hostel, and it doesn't pretend to be. It is simple, comfortable and, most importantly, you genuinely feel good here. In fact, I have already been extending my stay because I feel so comfortable. I also really appreciate all the little details that are taken care of: there is always hot water available, drinking water, and free laundry, which is a huge plus for a traveller. These may seem like small things, but they make a big difference and can turn what could be an ordinary hostel stay into a genuinely great one. I had several requests during my stay, and Mr Vugar was always listening, always helpful and always trying to find a solution. He really does his best to make sure that everyone feels comfortable.

Just a few small details could be improved, mainly in the bathrooms. The bins are often completely full and should be emptied more regularly, and toilet paper could be replaced more promptly when it runs out. These are very minor points, though. Apart from that, my stay has been excellent, and I am genuinely happy that I chose this place.

キッチン、ミネラルウォーター、Wi-Fi、タオル、鍵付きロッカーなど必要な物は大体揃っています。 洗濯機も自由に使えるのでとても助かりました。 部屋やシャワールーム、トイレも清潔で過ごしやすかったのはもちろん、私はここの滞在で何よりオーナーの優しさに とても感動しました。困った事があればWhatsappでいつでも相談出来ますし、バクーの色んなおすすめを教えてくれます。 帰ってくると毎回調子どう？って気にしてくれたのも 一人旅の寂しさからはとても嬉しい気遣いでした✨ 最終日、移動の便が夜遅かったので チェックアウト後荷物を置かせてもらえたのは とても助かりました。バクーに来てここのhostelにして とても運が良かったです😊！！ またバクーに来た時は絶対ここに滞在します🌼

The owner of the hostel and his staff are attentive to guests. They have a friendly approach and are always willing to help more. The facilities were always functioning and neat. The location is also perfect to reach transportation and main city areas. The surrounding environment is calm with the park within meters of distance. The new walkway and cycling area in front is suitable for leisurely walking, cycling, seating, and discovering the neighborhood. Overall, it's a great place and value for money (very budget friendly, I would say).
