The Urban Hotel Kasama

The hotel is still fairly new, so it looks very smart. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very attentive and polite. We had the bbq on our first night and it was very good and good value for money.

We were not told until we arrived that the pool was under maintenance so not available for use. The rooms need to have enough bedside cabinets for 2. The bathrooms need a soap dish and hooks for towels, robes etc. On our first morning breakfast was not explained to us, so we used the buffet, not realising until our last day that we could order different breakfast choices

The break fast was okay. They should just some ice cream to the buffet. The location is rather off but this is what can not change. Therfore it remains important to put signage from the main roads

The hotel is clean. Curtesy of the workers. Cleaners were greeting us if you meet them in corridors that felt welcoming. All the facilities in the rooms were working

Great food and very friendly and attentive staff

The gym has no equipment in it

Clean rooms

Cleaners start cleaning the corridors too early therefore disturbing guests’ sleep
